My handmade books are just that... handmade by me, the artist... Cherie Gerhardt.
Each book is not only unique in its creation but to its bearer as well. Those who acquire my books use them for many different purposes, whether it be a prayer book, journal, guest book, memory book, or spellbook.

Each book's creation begins with the selection of one of my art pieces, which is then printed on water-resistant canvas. Next, exotic handmade papers are adhered to the cover of the book to add a distinctive texture. Inside contains quality natural parchment paper that has been stained and aged to perfection. The book is post-bound, so the papers can easily be added and removed.
My books are accompanied by a hand-crafted feather quill and a fabric bag for storing.
I take a great deal of time creating these books. Each one is made of quality materials, and no two are alike. It is my intention for you to cherish your book as much as I love creating each one.
These books are an invaluable treasure meant to be passed down to your loved ones for generations to come.

The starting cost of a base custom book is *$155, plus shipping.
You may choose additional items to enhance your book from the list below.
Once you have made your choices, please contact me via email or Etsy messaging with that information.
I will then make a custom listing for you for the full amount of the book in either my Etsy shop. When your custom Etsy listing is sent to you, please read it over carefully! There will be a description of the book in the Etsy listing .
Make sure this description is exactly the way you wish your book to be.
Once payment is made, absolutely no changes can be made.
Please understand that ALL custom orders MUST be paid in full before I create them.
Please allow 35 days from payment for your book to be completed.
About Your Custom Book:
• Image printed on water resistant canvas.
• 2.5"thick x 9.5"wide x 11.5" tall.
• The covers are made from quality, textured handmade paper.
• The binding is made of organza ribbons.
• Inside contains blank, natural, parchment paper that has been stained and aged.
• These papers can be added and removed.
• 12" standard feather quill pen.
• Fabric bag for storing.
