When taking a photo, keep in mind
what you would like your Mystic Portrait to look like.
Do you want the person sitting or standing?
Do you want them to hold out their hands?
Maybe you want them leaning against something.
If you want a full pose of the person in the portrait, make sure that you have the persons full body in your photo.
Do not cut out any parts like hands, head or feet.
For a head portrait you need the waist up.
The more that I have to work with the better.

Young Women (Teens) & Adult Women:
Teen Girls and adult women make wonderful Mystic Portraits.
I can turn them into anything... including fairies, mermaids and angels.
The key to these portraits is the pose. Wear something enchanting and
be a little dramatic... play the part.
Please include the whole person in the photo, feet and all.
Remember, natural lighting is the best.

Young Men (Teens) & Adult Men:
Just like the women... play the part. Wear your favorite costume or
consider an open or no shirt pose.

Infants, Toddlers and Young Children:
With Children, as in all the photos, it is best to take the photos
in natural lighting. Take them in a room with lots of natural light,
or take them outside... like a playground and just snap away.
Little ones have beautiful skin tones which are great to work with.
With infants, less is more. If I am adding wings to your infant,
place your child in an upright position or laying on their tummy.
With toddlers and Young Adults, costuming is key.
Think about what outfit you would like them to wear.
I can always add more clothing details, such as sleeves on the arms,
but it is much harder to remove them. Think gossamer dresses which show
the shoulders and arms for girls, and natural "less is more" outfits for boys.

Pets:
Not only do I create Mystic Portraits for humans... but also for our nonhuman friends as well... consider a fairy cat. Or woodland dog. The possibilities are endless. With pets the more photos the better...
